Freshman Football Drops a close one to SMW 14-16

The freshman football team played SMW on Thursday evening and dropped a close contest 14-16.  Turnovers hurt the Firebirds by giving up a fumble and an interception in the first half that led to 16 points for the Vikings.  The Firebirds shutout the Vikings in the second half.  Tyler Bowden rushed for over 100 yards

Varsity Tennis Wins Season Opener

Varsity girls tennis competed at Shawnee Heights earlier this afternoon in their first meet of the year. The girls finished first as a team with 14 points, right ahead of Salina-Central.
