JV Medals at Hiawatha Invitational

Saturday the JV team successfully competed in the 8-team Hiawatha Invitational. Lauren Malik won a 4th place medal at #1 singles. Ashton Weeks and Atrooba Hashim won a 2nd place medal at #1 doubles. Allison Reed and Isabelle Jurgensmeier won a 1st place medal at #2 doubles.

Varsity Tennis Dominates Emporia Invitational

The Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity competed Saturday in a ten team tournament. The girls continued the early season success with Kate Piper reaching the championship match in the singles bracket. Cross Country Teams head to Nebraska

The boys and girls cross country teams headed to Nebraska Thursday in preparation for a highly competitive meet in Omaha against some of the top teams from Nebraska and South Dakota.

Girls Placed 2nd and Boys Win Olathe Class Races

The girls’ cross country team took a close second to St. James Academy, and the boys team won the title at the Olathe Class Races. The boys narrowly defeated the defending state champions from Olathe East. Freshmen Brock Cordova and Sophomore Charlie Johnson won individual titles in their respective races.

The boys All Class Football team won big in their first game Saturday morning 41-24. Behind touchdowns from Jaxson Webb, Malachi Starr, Marcus Preston, and Jaxon Malone the firebirds were able to light up the scoreboard.
