$25 Sports Physicals for the 2019-20 School Year!

Firebird Community – Lawrence Memorial Hospital is hosting the 2019 Sports Physical Night from 6-7pm on  Tuesday, May 28th in the Main Gym at Lawrence High School.  The physicals are $25 (cash or check accepted) and you do NOT need an appointment.  As a reminder, if your student-athlete plans on participating in a sport during the 2019-20 school

Girls Tennis Takes 4th at State

Free State tennis took 2 doubles team and 1 singles entry to the 2018 State Tournament. The girls persevered through rain delays and matches that didn’t conclude until 11:00pm, and ultimately finished 4th as a team, 1 point behind the 3rd place team from Blue Valley High. Girls Tennis Repeat as Regional Champions

The Girls Varsity Tennis program competed in the postseason Regional Tournament on Friday. This year’s tournament was hosted by Wichita East. Varsity Tennis competed Tuesday afternoon at LHS. Shawnee Mission South, Olathe South, and LHS were in attendance. The girls would combine for a 10-2 record. The Girls Varsity team would end up winning the quad.
